These teams are Hilal Fuah and Shabab Al-Qatin from Hadhramaut,Al-Amanah, Lahij, Abyan,Hajah, Hudaidah, Taiz and Baidha in addition to Aden, the hosting city.
First-day competitions will start this afternoon by weighing players beginning with light weight for men ,women,boys and girls.
Dr Abduallah Al-Jarmal , chairman of Yemeni Weight Lifting Union said " this championship is the seal competition for 2008 season which witnessed a variety of activities conducted by the Union in the framework of his schemes and programs aiming at developing this game and widen its participation base in all Yemeni Provinces''.
