Yemeni-UAE talks on population database project

Official talks were held on Monday co-chaired by Undersecretary of Interior Ministry Major General Riyad al-Qurashi and UAE Executive Director for Communications and Information Systems Nasser al-Mazruay.
During the talks, the two parties discussed the operational procedures for the establishment of a population database that would empower official authorities to issue electronic passports and ID-cards.The Yemeni official affirmed the importance of strengthening development process and security, affirming the readiness of the Ministry to provide the whole support to implement and succeed the project.
