Yemeni-Tunisian technical education cooperation discussed

Minister of Technical Education and Vocational Training Ibrahim Hajri
discussed with the Tunisian ambassador to Yemen Tawfiq Jaber means of
enhancing the
mutual cooperation between the two countries in the
technical education and vocational training fields.
The two officials also discussed issues concerning with preparations for Hajri's coming visit to Tunis in May which comes as a reply on an invitation from Tunisian Education Minister Htem bin Salem.
The visit aims at getting acquaintance with the Tunisian experiences in the fields of education, hotel, vocational and tourist training.
Hajri affirmed the importance of enhancing the technical cooperation fields between the two countries, making reference to the strengthened Yemeni-Tunisian relations.
For his part, the Tunisian official voiced his country's readiness to support the technical education in Yemen and offering a number of scholarships to qualify the cadres of Yemeni Education Ministry.
