Yemeni culture in lecture at Gunma University of Japan

Yemeni ambassador to Tokyo Marwan Noaman delivered a lecture at Gunma University in Japan on the Yemeni cultural history.
The lecture talked about the Yemeni history and its cultures as well as its strategic importance for the international community, in addition to the challenges that face Yemen topped by poverty, terrorism and piracy.Noaman mentioned, in his lecture, the role of Japan and the international community in assisting Yemen to get over security and development challenges, making reference to the role played by Yemen to fight sea piracy.The lecture also made reference to the international efforts in fighting terrorism and investment opportunities in Yemen.During the lecture, which was attended by a gathering of students and citizens of Takasaki, a graphic presentation of the heritage sites in Yemen, including the Old Sana'a, Shibam, Hadramawt and Socotra was played
