Yemen, UK discuss "Fit World for Children" convention

The talks dealt with the "Fit World for Children" agreement that recommends offering healthcare service, better education and
protection from AIDS for children.
Al-Jawfi explained the programs and activities implemented by his ministry such as extending the program of early childhood, encouraging children enrollment in schools in light of Education for All program, improving child education, removing differences based on gender and fighting illiteracy among women.
Al-Jawfi said that the convention of "Fit World for Children" go in line with the National Strategy for Basic Education, the National Strategy for Girls Education and the Education for All by 2015, according to MDGs.
