The meeting touched on the bilateral cooperation relations between Yemen and the United Kingdom, particularly with regard to the field of higher education and scientific research, and the possibility of sending Yemeni students to study in Britain through the facilities provided by the British government.

The minister affirmed that Yemen needs further support in the higher education aspect, valuing the Britain's efforts and its support to Yemen in the different circumstances, especially during the 2011 events.

The British diplomat confirmed her country's keenness to strengthen the cooperation relations with Yemen in the scientific and research areas and its support to the political leadership and the national reconciliation government until the completion of the political settlement and building the new Yemen.
