Yemen to take part in Arab meeting

Yemen is to take part in a meeting of the high five-member committee for the development of joint Arab action to be kicked off in Cairo on Wednesday.
Speaking to Saba, Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi, the head of the Yemeni delegation to the Cairo meeting, said that the meeting will discuss the current developments regarding the Israeli-Palestinian peace talks.
He mentioned that Yemen will also take part in a meeting of the Arab peace initiative follow-up committee which will deal with Palestinian issues.
The five-member committee has adopted the vision relating to the promotion of the League of Arab States and its major organs within the framework of a Union of the League of Arab countries to promote common Arab action.
The committee consists of Libya, Qatar, Egypt, Yemen and Iraq.
