This international conference is organized by the U.S. and the World Bank with the participation of the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE). In a statement to Saba, Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Mohamed al-Maitami said that Yemen was chosen from the Middle East to participate in the conference, which is the first of its kind since 1946 with the aim of enhancing the political process and development. The minister noted that he would meet, on sidelines of the conference, with the three Yemeni parties represented in the public and private sectors and leaders of political parties and representatives of Ansarullah in order to agree on the best ways to promote the transition process ,support the development path, ensure a tripartite agreement for the new government program and enhance the main agreements, including the national dialogue outcomes and the peace and partnership agreement.
