In a statement to Saba, Minister of Culture Dr. Abdullah Aubal Mandhouq, head of the Yemeni delegation to the conference, said that the conference would discuss a number of common issues and activities relating to the mutual cultural cooperation between the Arab and South American countries as well as promoting the cultural dialogue between the participating countries.

Mandhouq affirmed the importance of the conference, which will discuss the experiences of Arab countries in the cultural and creative fields and how to benefit from the Latin America's experiences in this field.
