In the meeting, which was held on the sidelines of the fifth Arab Conference on fishery resources and food security in Algeria, Kefayen underlined the importance of strengthening trade and regulating the fish exports between the two countries to serve their economic interests.

On another hand, the minister Kefayen discussed with Mohamed Khair Abdul-Qadir, director of Arab organization and unions at the Arab League, the cooperation between his ministry and the League, as well as the actions relating to the establishment of the Arab Council of Fisheries Ministers.
