Yemen, Oman hold talks on fisheries cooperation

Yemen and Oman held on Monday talks in the Omani capital, Muscat, that focused on cooperation in the fisheries area.
The talks were co-chaired by Fisheries Minister Muhammad Saleh Shamlan and his Omani counterpart Muhammad Bin Ali al-Qatabi.The two countries agreed on executive programs for what they previously agreed including activating cooperation on fisheries researches and discussing the possibility of conducting researches on migrant fish as well as coordination on supervision and information sharing.The two neighbors also discussed ways to increase the bilateral trade, encouraging the establishment of joint companies and learning from the Omani experience in management of fish sector, ports and fish unloading sites
