Yemen's ambassador to Malaysia Abdullah al-Muntaser has met with Malaysian Chief of Industrial Quality and Research Haji Yahya Ahmad .

During the meeting, they discussed a bilateral cooperation program between the Ministry of Industry and Trade in Yemen and the Malaysian industrial quality and research. The cooperation program includes the completion of a national strategy for Industry development in Yemen, prepared by a team of experts from the Malaysian Serum Berhad company funded by the Malaysian government.
They also agreed to make joint efforts to ensure funding the 2nd phase of this strategy and its practical application for developing industries sector.
