Yemen, India discuss military cooperation

Chief of Staff General Ahmed al-Ashwal met here on Wednesday with Indian ambassador to Yemen Amrit Lugun and Security Affairs Secretary at the Indian Foreign Ministry.
During the meeting, they discussed aspects of cooperation between the two countries' armies especially in the field of military medical services.
Al-Ashwal hailed the bilateral relations between Yemen and India, stressing the importance to benefit from the Indian experiences in the military medical service fields.
For his part, Lugun expressed the Indian readiness to expand areas of joint cooperation with Yemen in various fields, including military medical training.
