Yemen, IFC in talks over business environment reform programme

They discussed the bilateral cooperation between the ministry and the IFC on following up the business environment reform programme as well as Yemen's position within international indicators.The meeting raised outcomes of the implementation of the programme in the last two years, particularly those which helped Yemen get higher rankings on the business environment index, and requirements to continue the programme in the coming period.
There was a special focus on shifting to reforming commercial and industrial registration procedures at the ministry offices starting with five typical offices in the Secretariat Capital, Hodeida, Aden, Taiz and Hadramout.Appreciating the IFC support to the programme, Sharaf hoped the IFC will increase this support as Yemen is keen to improve its business and investment environment
