Yemen has signed a contract with Rabih Sa'adan, an Algerian soccer coach, hiring him as the technical coach of its national team.
Sa'adan replaced Croatian coach Yuri Streshko whose contract was terminated after Yemen's national football team suffered severe defeats during the 20th Gulf soccer cup hosted late last year in the south.Under the contract, the new coach will receive $ 20000 a month.
Yemen Football Association had been holding negotiations with Sa'adan and on Saturday the effort was successful when the contract was signed, a source at the association said.
