Caretaker Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi met here on Saturday with European Union countries' ambassadors accredited to Yemen

The two sides discussed the recent developments at the Yemeni arena, especially with regard to the Gulf initiative and ways of resolving the current crisis in Yemen.Al-Qirbi confirmed that the Yemeni government welcomes the initiative, as long as it would lead to resolving the crisis in the country.For their part, the EU ambassadors expressed their countries' support for the efforts made by the General Secretariat of the GCC countries ,which form the basis for resolving the crisis in Yemen.On another hand, al-Qirbi met separately with each of Charge d'affaires of German embassy and Deputy British ambassador to Yemen, and discussed with them bilateral relations between Yemen and their countries
