The two sides touched on the economic situation in Yemen and the government trends to increase the oil production and the investments required in this regard, as well as the technical assistance that could provided by the European Union to Yemen in this field.

In the meeting, al-Kaf commended the EU's continued support for Yemen, stressing the importance of expanding cooperation areas in the oil, gas and minerals field.

The ambassador Muscheidt confirmed the EU's support to Yemen in the various fields, especially in the economic field and increasing investments.
