The Chinese chargé d'affaires in Yemen notified Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Hisham Sharaf of the Chinese government decision

During their meeting, the Minister reviewed with the Chinese diplomat the mutual scientific and academic cooperation, topped by the preparations for inaugurating a Chinese Language Department at Sana'a University.

Sharaf expressed his aspiration for further Chinese support to Yemen in scientific research area, inviting the Chinese academics and researchers to attend the scientific research conference to be held in Sana'a in November.
