In a supposed meeting al-Sa'di held with France's Permanent Representative to the UN Nicolas de Rivievre on Wednesday, the two parties discussed latest developments in Yemen, Houthi terrorist militia's recent escalation on Marib and shelling the city with ballistic rockets while the UN envoy in a visit to Tehran.

Al-Sa'di talked about government's efforts for normalizing life, providing services, regaining the state institutions, realizing security and stability and heading to draw developmental plans for realizing economic recovery despite challenges facing the government and Houthi terrorist attack on Aden Airport during the arrival of the government from Riyadh.

For his part, the French representative confirmed his country's support to peace efforts led by the UN, pointing out that France expressed concerns earlier regarding continuous Houthi attacks on Marib and that his country calls the Houthis to stop their attacks inside Yemen and their activities destabilizing the region.

He expressed his country's resentment over the delay of solving Safir issue, pointing out that France supports UN's efforts and financed the organization's technical team.
