The security services have arrested an al-Qaeda member in possession of an explosive belt, security sources in Abyan province said on Friday.

The sources added that the 25-year-old terrorist Jihad Abdallah al-Faqir was arrested while on his way in a car to Lawdar district and was referred to investigation.
