World Championship of Arab Boxing Professionals kicked off in Seiyun-Hadhramaut

The International Federation of Arab Boxers organized the event and agreed to hold the event in Hadhramout in face of the criticism it received, under safety issues because the county is at war.
The tournament will be held over two days 28th-29th June 19 under the slogan "Saudi, Emirati and Yemeni Brothers Championship".
At the inauguration ceremony, the undersecretary for affairs of the Valley and Desert ( Wadi & Sahra) Issam Al Kathiri welcomed the guests and wished them a pleasant time in Hadhramout.
Al Kathiri called on the participants at the tournament to convey a message of love and peace from Hadhramaut and Yemen to the countries of the world.
He praised the role of the brothers from the Arab coalition led by KSA and UAE for preparing Hadhramaut to hold the tournament.
In return, the President of the International Federation of Arab Boxing, Dr Al-Hadi al-Sudairy, thanked Yemen for embracing the tournament, noting that 28 world champions will participate in the tournament, including 17 foreigners and 11 from Yemen and Arab countries.
At the opening ceremony, a group of artists and performers presented “The Yemeni Saudi, Emirati Brothers" musical, which included folk dances from the Hadhrami heritage,Yemen, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
