Violence against Women organized Monday an awareness workshop on the early marriage and violence against women in Hadramout province.
The workshop funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) was attended by 40 participants representing local councils and governmental institutions.The workshop discussed the negative effects of early marriage and its side effects on the mother and child health, in addition to the forms of violence against women and its social and health impacts
