US to assist in improving Yemen's prisons conditions

Yemen and the USA discussed in here on Wednesday the preparations for carrying out a project on developing prisons' conditions in Yemen.
Deputy Planning Minister Hisham Sharaf reviewed with the Human Development Officer in the US Department of State Lorraine Freeman the possibility to provide the Yemeni prisons with various means to enhance the rehabilitation and humanitarian function of the prisons.The meeting also discussed the cooperation areas between Yemen and the US in justice field, and strengthening the rule of law
