UNICEF: Yemen needs $ 12.7 million to prevent the spread of Corona

“We appeal for $ 12.7 million to help provide vital water, sanitation and hygiene services and raise awareness to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in Yemen,” the WHO office in Yemen said on its Twitter account, Monday evening.
The organization, has announced that it is working to expand preparedness and response programs to confront Corona in Yemen, warning that the spread of the virus may cause devastating effects to the most vulnerable communities in the country.
As of Tuesday morning, Yemen had recorded only one case of corona in Hadramout Governorate, in the east of the country
