UN envoy to Yemen Martin Griffiths has departed from Yemen's capital Sanaa on Tuesday, and is set to visit Riyadh .

Before his departure from the Yemeni capital, Griffiths reportedly met with Danish general Michael Lollesgaard, who now heads the UN observer mission in the conflicted country, replacing Patrick Cammaert, according to Al-Arabiya.
