In a speech to the Arab League meeting at the ministerial level, he said that the UAE supports the efforts of the UN envoy to find a solution to the Yemeni crisis.

          Gargash also stressed the UAE's support for the unity and stability of Libya and its welcome of the efforts of the UN envoy for a political settlement in the country, as well as supporting the efforts of the United Nations to reach a political solution in Syria.

          Gargash praised the role of Iraqi forces in the war on terrorism, stressing the need to reach a just and comprehensive settlement of the Palestinian issue.

          He also called Iran for a peaceful solution to end the occupation of the three Emirati islands.

          In his speech, Gargash defended the measures of some Arab countries, including UAE, toward boycotting Qatar and said that the actions of the four countries against Qatar came because of Doha's support for extremism, terrorism and interference in the affairs of the countries of the region.
