The Kuwaiti team reached   the final by topping Group A with seven points earned from its  victory against Qatar by 1/0, and the scoreless draw  0/0 against Saudi Arabia and and scoring three clean goals in Yemen Net.
And in  the semi-finals Kuwaiti team had a difficult time to win  their match  in front of thier  Iraqi counterpart, the outcome of penalties were given to both teams after being tied in a marathon match with two goals each. The Kuwaiti team scored 5/4 in the penalties and they qualified for the finals.
The Saudi team qualified after winning in front of their  UAE counterpart in the semi-final, outcome was 1/0 for the Saudi  and they topped the second  in Group A with five points earned from winning the big score in front of Yemen, a draw against Kuwait and  they got one goal each when they played against Qatar.net. each..
