Minister of Fisheries Wealth Mohammed Shamlan held talks on Saturday
with the energy expert at the United Nations Development Program UNDP
over possibilities
of benefiting Yemen from support presented by the
UNDP for affected countries due to change climate.
The minister said that Yemen is one of the most affected countries due to the climate change, pointing out to the flood which hit Hadramout and al-Maharah governorates last October 2008.
For his part, the UNDP expert voiced readiness of the program to support nomination Yemen to benefit from this support.
