SCCD forms committee for following up rescue process

Supreme Council of Civil Defense (SCCD) has formed a committee to be in
charge of following up efforts of rescue and housing people affected by
flood catastrophe.
In its Sunday meeting chaired by Prime Minister Ali Mujawar, the council discussed great damages of buildings and facilities in the historical city of Shibam Hadramout and authorized the National Committee for Education, Culture and Sciences (NCECS) on preparing quick report on damages have befallen the historical city and setting measures and steps to be taken for ensuring re-constructing the city.
The SCCD reviewed notifications presented by a number of concerned governmental bodies over one day donations from their employees for facing rescue process and housing as well as easing suffering of people in Hadramout and Mahra governorate.
The council continued efforts in today meeting by reviewing field reports presented by service ministries and expressed pleasure for efforts exerted for restoring some services in the two governorates.
