Saudi Arabia to support Yemen health activities with US$12 mln

Health Minister Ahmed al-Ansi has said that Saudi Arabia had agreed to provide US$ 12 million to the activities of immunization against polio and measles in Yemen.
Al-Ansi made his remarks following the conclusion of the 74th conference of GCC Ministers of Health which held in the Bahraini capital on 09, 10 January in the presence of the GCC states and Yemen.
On the sidelines of the conference, al-Ansi met his Kuwaiti counterpart Mohammed al-Haifi and discussed with him aspects of joint cooperation between the two countries in the field of health and ways of enhancing them.
