Saleh initiatives for addressing Yemen political tension reviewed

Deputy Prime Minister for Security and Defense Affairs in the caretaker government Rashad al-Alimi briefed here on Wednesday the UN Secretary-General Jamel Ben Amor on the initiatives of President Ali Abdulla Saleh to address the country's current political tension.
At the meeting, al- Alimi talked over the latest developments in Yemen, praising the UN stances of standing beside Yemen in all its circumstances, particularly the developmental and humanitarian ones. For his part, the UN envoy stressed the UN keenness for the stability, unity and security of Yemen.
