TAIZ, Oct. 26 (Saba) President Ali Abdullah Saleh on Thursday paid a
visit to Bab al-Mandab region, in Taiz Governorate, where he was
received by officials of the governorate.
He listened to the needs of the citizens and visited tourist places.
He affirmed the importance of paying attention to tourism in the region, giving orders to set up a tourist housing city in it.
He also gave orders to plan the lands in the region and to sell them with low prices.
He said that the region of Bab al-Mandab would witness further development, especially in the tourist sector.
