President Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi telephoned on Friday Tunisian President Mohammed Moncef Marzouki to congratulate him on the ratification of Tunisia’s new constitution.

At the conversation, President Hadi praised Marzouki for his efforts to lead the transition in Tunisia and run its leadership to a better future, expressing the hope that the new constitution would represent a step on the path of progress and prosperity for Tunisia.

In addition, President Hadi wished Tunisia and its people further progress and prosperity in the coming period to consolidate steps aimed at achieving security and stability.

For his part, the Tunisian president expressed his thanks and appreciation to President Hadi, congratulating him on the success of Yemen’s national dialogue conference.

Marzouki also stressed his country's support for Yemen’s security, stability and unity.
