PM: Yemen needs substantial support to cope with Coronavirus challenge

In his address to the nation on Saturday in the wake of recording the first case of coronavirus infection on Friday in Hadramout governorate he said " We do highly appreciate the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for contributing to the humanitarian actions with $500 million and $25 million to support the government's efforts to combat coronavirus".
Ma'een wen to saying " but challenges facing health sector and its poor capacities need greater efforts and unlimited support to make it functioning reasonably".
The Prime Minister highlighted the need for a united health policy in the country to control the lethal virus.
He said " Following the detection of the first case of infection we do hope that it will be dealt positively with cease-fire initiative and it is necessary to have a united health policy to manage the virus".
