The arrangements of the Prime Minister's visit were discussed during a meeting gathered Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Mohamed al-Maitami and the Commercial attaché at the Chinese Embassy. They also reviewed the progress of the Chinese government-funded projects in Yemen.

Al-Maitami affirmed the importance of accelerating the implementation of the agreed projects between the two countries, hailing the Chinese support for the stability and development paths in Yemen.

He underlined the Yemeni government's keenness to enlarge the cooperation areas with China.

The Chinese commercial attaché affirmed his country's readiness to continue its support for Yemen in the future.
