Caretaker Prime Minister Ali Mujawar affirmed on Wednesday that the political leadership led by President Ali Abdullah Saleh has shown a clear position towards the GCC initiative.

This position is based on the full keenness on sparing the blood of Yemenis and ensuring all conditions and requirements for a smooth and safe transfer of power, which is full in line with rules of the Constitution, Mujawar said during the opening of the seminar " Gulf initiative and its impact on Yemen's future" organized by Arabian Peninsula Forum and Okaz newspaper.Mujawar reiterated the call for the opposition joint meeting parties (JMPs) to show a national responsible position towards the Gulf initiative as a basis for the transfer of power.He referred to the importance of holding this seminar and how it may contribute to conducting a comprehensive and objective reading for the political crisis in Yemen.Furthermore, Mujawar noted that the seminar confirms the exceptional importance of the Gulf initiative, which he said is a historic opportunity for all parties in resolving the political crisis and establishing peace, security and stability in Yemen and the region.
