Planning ministry signs two agreements worth $17 mln

Planning and International Cooperation with the government
of South Korea and French Agency for Development in the field of higher
education and animal wealth development fields .
The first agreement approved that South Korea will grant Yemen a soft loan of $15,300,00 devoted to set up and supply the Yemen-South Korean Technical Institute for Vocational Training.
It was signed by Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Abdul Karim al-Arhabi and South Korean ambassador to Yemen Won -ho Kwan.
It is worth mentioning that South Korea allocated $100 millions to contribute in Yemen's development efforts during 2008-2011 in which the funds devoted to are set up infrastructural projects in higher education and health fields .
On the other hand, the second agreement of expanding the Animal Wealth Development Project in Taiz province and allocating $2.4 million offered by the French Agency for Development (AFD) and devoted for interpolating the project. It was signed by Minister of Planning al-Arhabi and the Regional Director of AFD in Sana'a .
