Parliament withdraws draft amendment to elections law

The Parliament approved on Monday the withdrawal of draft amendments to the General Elections and Referendum Law No. 13/2001.
The withdrawal of the draft amendments to the elections law came as President Ali Abdullah Saleh send a letter to the parliament in which he requested the withdrawal of the draft amendments for serving the public interest and giving a opportunity to a dialogue committee, consisted of representatives of the ruling party of the General People Congress and opposition parties, to reach positive outcomes during the next few days
