Yemen and Turkey. During his meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan and accompanying delegation, visiting Yemen currently, al-Raee confirmed the necessity to strengthen the Yemeni and Turkish peoples historic relations. Al-Ra'ei called Turkish businessmen to invest in Yemen, expressing his appreciation for positive attitudes of Turkish government and people toward Arab issues, particularly the central issue of Palestine. He welcomed the Turkish Grand National Assembly Speaker Koksal Toptan's expected to visit Yemen in the beginning of March.
