Pakistan intends to increase its investments in the Aden Free Zone (AFZ)
in chemical and paper industries, Pakistani ambassador to Yemen said
Wednesday.
During his meeting with Head of the General Investment Authority (GIA)
Yahia Saleh, Irfan Shami expressed the Pakistani businessmen's interest
in investing in Yemen, particularly in educational and health fields.
Saleh said that the GIA would offer all facilities and merits to the Pakistani businessmen according to the Yemeni investment law.
He voiced Yemen's keenness to attract the Pakistani capitals to benefit from the promising investment opportunities in Yemen.
The two officials also reviewed the possible means to enhance the cooperation relations between Yemen and Pakistan in areas of economy and investment.
