Committee headed by the Deputy Governor responsible for  wadi Hadhramout and Sahraa Affairs Omaier Mubarak Omaier  today discussed a number of complaints made by residents of some areas in Wadi and the Sahraa. against  compensation from  the oil excavation companies operating in the areas of Wadi Hadhramaut and sahraa

The resident complained that  damage had t occurred on their land as a result of drilling exploratory wells and processing  special sites for some of the companies. The proposals was submitted by the committee in this regard to consider the nature and extent of such damage in the light of field visits to those areas and the final results reached and presented to the Compensation Commission in the Wadi so as to take procedures and appropriate treatments  on that' issue.  The Committee endorsed some  the proposals and recommendations done  by the Ad Hoc Committee concerned with the complaints.
