A Yemeni delegation chaired by Human Rights and Legal Affairs Ministers headed on Sunday for the United Kingdom for a several-day official visit.
Upon her departure, Human Rights Minister Huriah Mashhoor said that the visit aims to get acquainted with and benefit from the British experience in establishing its human rights authority and respecting human rights.
She said that the Yemeni government has recently adopted a draft law on an independent authority for human rights, adding that it has been referred to Parliament for further discussion.
