The Minister's statement is made during his meeting with Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) representative in Yemen Salah al-Hajj, where they discussed several issues pertaining to food security and the rising challenges in Yemen.

The Minister valued the FAO's adherence to help Yemen to alleviate the problem of food insecurity in Yemen, stressing the importance of supporting the government's efforts to carry out the national strategy of food security.

For his part, al-Hajj affirmed the FAO's readiness to provide all support to Yemen to face challenges hindering the achievement of food security.
