The General Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry organizes on 26 of this January a

 National Conference for Businesswomen. The conference is to be held in coordination with Ministry of Industry and Trade Businesswomen Council and support by the GTZ.
Director General of the Federation Dr Mohammed al-Maitami, the chairman of the conference preparatory committee said the conference aims to get acquainted with reality of the businesswomen in Yemen and the environment in which those businesswomen are working as well as their ability in engaging in issues of development the conference also aims at founding strong mechanisms for enhancement of relationship with sides related to activities of the businesswomen.
Chairperson of the Businesswomen Council Dr Fawzia Nasher said the conference would highlight activities of businesswomen in governorates through drawing up a perception on their reality and the environment they work in as well as presenting solutions that would help businesswomen engage in this field.
