Hadhramaut Local Council gave the government till 22nd May, 2012 and it emphasized  on the need to treat the province the status it deserves

 Hadhramaut province local council  set a time limit which expires on 22 May to respond to the demands of the    aspects benefits of development and service in Hadramout. It also kept itself  in permanent session until these legitimate demands and dues are met. The first of the council  demands is to speed the payement  of the investors  in the energy purchased to ensure the continuity run of the  uninterrupted electricity and urged the Ministry of Finance and electricity to quickly disburse  the dues of these  investor.
