Justice Minister Murshed al-Arshani met here on Sunday with Alfateh al-Shadli, the legal Adviser of the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development (AFESD).

During the meeting, al-Arshani and al-Shadli discussed the implementation mechanisms of the project of Yemeni judiciary's capabilities development worth of $3 million funded by AFESD.

The Minister reviewed steps taken to enhance the judicial independence, building capacities, developing the Higher Judicial Institute and establishing a national center for forensic medicine.

For his part, al-Shadli asserted the AFESD's adherence to support the Yemeni judiciary and finance various developmental projects.
