Earlier President Ali Abdullah Saleh had directed the union to hold its meeting in a period does not exceed 24 hours to fix prices and put an end for unjustified hikes.
He held the Government and the Ministry of Industry and Commerce responsible for unjustified price hikes.
Khaled Taha Mustafa, deputy head of the union, informed Saba that the "union will hold its meeting Tuesday to tackle prices and fixing them."
"Most of exporters are committed to fixing prices and the problem lies on partition merchants who do not adhere to the stated prices," he clarified.
