The prime minister said that the government is keen to create all the motivating and encouraging factors for the oil companies to invest in Yemen during the coming period, especially with regard to the security aspect.

The government entities will provide the necessary support for the company to carry out its tasks and to achieve the desired success in its concession areas, Bahah affirmed.

In the meeting, Shahab reviewed all aspects relating to Medco's activity in Yemen, noting that the company is studying the possibility of expanding its exploratory operations for oil and gas.
