The welcomes came in two statements issued after GCC Ministerial Council's meeting held in New York and the Saudi cabinet's meeting held in Jeddah.
The Councils hopped that the agreement leads to a cessation of violence and underpinning the security and stability of Yemen, expressing their deep regret and grave concern at the recent events in Yemen.
They called on all parties to put the national interest first, refrain from incitement and stick to a political approach steering Yemen away from chaos and violence that threaten the security, stability and unity of Yemen. They also urged the political parties to complete the implementation of the national dialogue outcomes.
The Councils underlined the GCC States' support for Yemen and President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi's efforts to maintain peace and stability of the country.
