Agriculture being  the lifeblood of the economy of Yemen, where 70% of workers are in this sector.

It  has seen  alot of development and achievements  since the blessed Yemen unification. This achievements and level of level of expansion is being observed  in cultivated areas, construction of dams,water barriers, water streams  and the creation of  agricultural  laboratories to improve seed that resist insects and agricultural pests. This helps in   giving  the highest rates of production to serve the simple farmer,  help him to promote his  land and so that he puts more interest in it. It also helps  in reducing the migration  of people from the countryside to the city.
